Please refer to the steps below on how to update FalconStor CDP 8.0 (Build 8314) to latest version (SP5)
- Download the UpgradeIPStorTo8.00SP5 from FalconStor Portal
- Update FalconStor Managment Console to the latest version – Version 9 Build 9557
- Apply the update by using commands
#Transfer the update to CDPVA via SCP
scp UpgradeIPStorTo8.00SP5 [email protected]:/tmp
#Login to CDPVA and perform update
[root@CDPVA tmp]# ./UpgradeIPStorTo8.00SP5
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
Uncompressing patch upgrading to version 8.00 SP5; cannot be rolled back; must be applied on the server and not via the management console.......
IPStor is running. This script will stop all modules.
