Monitor HPE MSA Storage with CheckMK
Create a new host called MSA2050 in WATO – CONFIGURATION – Hosts – New Host with the following
- IP Address Family – IPv4 Only
- IPv4 Address – IP_ADDRESS_OF_CONTROLLER
- Check_MK Agent – Normail Checkmk agent, or special agent if configured
Click Parameters to continue
Go to DATASOURCE PROGRAMS – Check HP MSA via Web Interface
Click Create Host specific rule for
Enter the Username & Password to login to HPE MSA 2050 Storage
Select those services, like CPU Utilization, Disk Health, Network Interfaces, Power Supply and etc to monitor
You can monitor the Services status of HPE MSA 2050 Storage via VIEWS – Hosts – All Hosts
Monitor Aruba Switch with CheckMK
Create a new host called ARUBA-SW1 in WATO – CONFIGURATION – Hosts – New Host with the following
- IP Address Family – IPv4 Only
- IPv4 Address – IP_ADDRESS_OF_CONTROLLER
- Check_MK Agent – No Agent
- SNMP – SNMP v2 or v3
Click Save & go to Services
Select those services, like CPU Utilization, Interface Statistic, Sensors and etc to monitor
