Protect Windows Server with FalconStor DiskSafe Agent

Please refer to the steps below on how to Protect Windows Server with DiskSafe Agent

  1. Download the FalconStor DiskSafe Agent 4-22.2216 (Around 105MB) and install it to Windows 2012R2 Server. it will prompt to reboot server once the DiskSafe Agent is installed
  1. Start the ISCSI Services
Get-Service | ? name -like "*iscsi*" | Start-Service
  1. Click DiskSafe and Right Click on Disks –> Protect

  1. Select Disk 0 to protect the C Drive

  1. Configure Server Name to point to FalconStor CDPVA, with username = fsadmin , Password = IPStor101 (Default). Check ISCSI and click OK

  1. Check Enabled Thin Provisioning to save storage space

  1. New SAN Resources will be created in CDPVA

  1. Click Next to continue

  1. Define the protection schedule, daily or hourly

  1. Click Next to continue

  1. Wait for the First Syncronization to complete
